A SCARCE .177 BARREL-COCKING AIR-PISTOL, MODEL 'HIGHEST POSSIBLE', serial no. 646,
circa 1918, second model, with scarce 9 3/4in. rifled barrel, the air cylinder stamped 'WESTLEY RICHARDS "HIGHEST POSSIBLE" AIR PISTOL' on three lines, frame with patent number and date '1907', also marked 'WESTLEY RICHARDS & COY, LONDON W' on two lines, chequered hard-rubber grips, the whole retaining virtually all its original blued finish
