28in. replacement nitro barrels (circa 1957), rib engraved 'NEW BARRELS BY JOHN DICKSON & SON. EDINBURGH', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, treble-grip action with hidden third bite, intercepting sears, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, fine acanthus scroll engraving, bright and reblued finish overall, 14in. figured stock (crack to right underside at head), bolstered fore-end wood, weight 6lb. 7oz.
