manufactured for the U.S. market in 1981, the slightly curved twin fullered single edged 21in. blade etched along the edge with the name and year of every major battle fought during the American War of Independence 1775-1781, each battle separated by crossed sabers, both sides of the blade with Wilkinsons trademark, plated ribbed mount at the ricasso, carved and moulded silver-gilt cross-guard with turned forwards and back quillions, spirally carved and wire bound ivorine grip with carved pommel, no scabbard, some wear to plating and minor marks to blade
