25in. unsighted round nitro proved 6.5x284mm barrel with permanently attached fore-end with sling eye and horn finial;
the receiver ornately carved in high relief with scrolling acanthus on a matted background and with gold highlighting, the bolt decorated en suite, two telescopic sights in engraved and gold highlighted telescopic sights, on a Zeiss Diavari V 6-24x56 T*, serial no. 2881647, the second a Zeiss Varipoint V 1,1-4x24 T*, serial no. 2882166, two detachable box magazines with carved bases, one with bold acanthus scrollwork on a matted background, the second with bold acanthus scrollwork with gold highlights and a central vignette of a red stag in a wooded landscape, bright finish, 14in. highly-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece and monte carlo comb, the pistolgrip-cap carved in high relief with stylised floral designs surrounding a gold highlighted portrait of a horned beast, sling eyes, minor cracks to wood by receiver ring, 14in. pull including 1/2in. rubber recoil pad, weight 7lb. 11oz. (unscoped, 9.3x62mm barrel) and 9lb. 13oz. (with Diavari scope), weight 8lb. 12oz. (unscoped, 6.5x284mm barrel) and 10lb.
