A .28 PERCUSSION COMBINATION KNIFE-PISTOL, MODEL 'NON-XLL', no visible serial number,
circa 1840, with nickel semi-octagonal 3 1/2in. barrel, Birmingham proofs, bead fore-sight, central hammer, half-chequered horn side-scales with nickel bolsters, rear hinged cap-box the underside with folding trigger, a double edged signed 3 1/4in. blade and a signed 2 1/2in. drop-point blade, storage in the rear of scales for a scissors mould and a pair of tweezers with loading rod combined
