A .45 (ACP) SEMI-AUTOMATIC SERVICE-PISTOL SIGNED COLT, MODEL '1911 GOVERNMENT', serial no. C7679,
for 1915, collection reference 3179, with 5in. barrel, blued sighted slide with patents to 1913 and radiused top to the rear-sight, blued frame deeply struck with a letter 'R', smooth straight mainspring housing, grip safe, original chequered walnut grips marked 'SHG' and replacement magazine, much original blued finish with some small corrosion spots
