 A 12-BORE 'C GRADE' BACK-ACTION SIDELOCK EJECTOR, serial no. 24811, 
 for 1906, 30in. nitro reproved barrels (pitted, dented), the tubes engraved 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND. 98 NEW BOND STREET. LONDON.' and the rib engraved 'C. GRADE.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, left wall at 19, automatic safety with engraved 'SAFE' detail, gas checks, border engraving, the lockplates signed 'H&H', 14 3/4in. figured replacement stock, weight 6lb. 15oz., in its leather guncase  
  
 Provenance: The makers have kindly confirmed that this gun was completed in September 1906 as a No.3 model hammerless ejector gun. The original name, Watson, has been crossed out in the ledgers, and replaced by "Peacock"
