A WORLD WAR II CASED MILITARY 20mm CANNON BARREL OPTICAL ALIGNING TOOL/BORE SIGHT, circa 1940s, brass focusing eyepiece containing a reticle, with British 'Broad Arrow' Ordnance mark and steel aligning tube in its fitted wooden box with 'Broad Arrow' marked brass refurbishment plate, these tools were used for aligning a cannon barrel onto a target, to ensure that the gun's sighting instrumentation was correct, 30in. overall, 5lb approx.
