circa 1880, with black enamelled 19 1/2in. smoothbore muzzle-loading 54-bore barrel-section with detachable 180-bore rifled liner, diminutive open sights and concealed button trigger, aperture for cocking key (included), straight enamelled air reservoir threaded at end for a pommel (absent), much finish and traces of colour, in a period velvet-lined walnut casing adapted for this cane storing the rifled barrel out of the main body and complete with a laminated pump signed 'E. & W. BOND 45 CORNHILL LONDON', wooden rammer, the original cocking key and a spare valve stem
