A .41 (RIMFIRE) X.L. SINGLE SHOT DERRINGER TYPE POCKET PISTOL, no visible serial number circa 1875 with 2 9/16in octagonal barrel which swings sideways to open, top flat stamped 'X.L. DERRINGER' and on the left side of the barrel 'PAT. APR. 5. 1870', with fluted frame, centre hammer and sheath trigger, fitted with two piece birdshead walnut grips., frame and barrel has been re-nickelled.
