dated 1923, 25 3/4in. nitro barrels, tubes engraved 'H. ANTOINE ARQr. 31 AV DE SUFFREN. PARIS.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 3/4 choke in both, action with side bolsters carved with foliate motifs set against a matt background, removable striker discs, manual safety with gold-inlaid 'S' detail, articulated front trigger, partially gold-washed internals, border and acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, retaining traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 14in. figured stock including 3/4in. recoil pad, weight 6lb. 6oz.
