L067 2344, circa 1915, sporterised from a No.1 MKIII, 25in. nitro reproved barrel (in 1991), block and blade fore-sight with cut-down sight protectors, adjustable tangent rear sight, graduated to 1800 yards, receiver fitted with an aperture rear sight, receiver marked 'L.R. TIPPINS. MISTLEY. MANNINGTREE.', magazine cut-off, oval cocking piece, detachable box magazine, rear volley sight removed, cut-down chequered halfstock, front volley sight, figured and tiger striped buttstock with 13in. pull including brass buttplate with central trapdoor, leather sling, weight 8lb. 13oz.
