A CASED VICTORIAN ANEROID BAROMETER, UNSIGNED, NO. 8775, probably English circa 1875, with 4in. diameter silvered dial marked 'ANEROID BAROMETER', the top half of the dial with pressures and weather conditions, the lower half with curved mercury thermometer and temperature levels, (missing arrow barometer hand with crescent tail), lacquered brass case (damaged) and contained in its grossgrain blue silk lined black leatherette case, the lid embossed with rococo scrolled borders
