A 28-BORE FLINTLOCK HOLSTER PISTOL FOR RESTORATION OR PARTS, no visible signature or serial number, circa mid-18th Century, with 11 in. round to octagonal barrel, top flat with traces only of engraved maker details, crossed sceptre proof-marks, swan-neck hammer and lock with traces of engraving, inlaid wirework on butt, white metal escutcheon engrave with a flower to wrist, brass star butt-cap, brass trigger-guard and lock back-plate, walnut horn-tipped stock with chequered wrist and forend, heavily worn, stock with shrinkage, splitting and losses around the lock, action at fault, 17 1/2 in. overall length
