A PATTERN 1821 VICTORIAN LIGHT CAVALRY OFFICER'S SWORD, mid-19th Century, with 35 1/4 in. slightly curved steel blade fullered on each side, engraved both sides with scroll-work and queen's crown above royal cypher, ricasso with proved plug, 3-barred guard, wire-bound fish-skin grip, together with its steel scabbard, worn, blade rubbed, maker's details rubbed out, all exposed metalwork with significant blinded pitting, grip with losses at the pommel, scabbard throat screws absent
