A PATTERN 1822 VICTORIAN LIGHT CAVALRY OFFICER'S SWORD, mid 19th Century, with 34 1/2 in. single-edged blade fullered and etched on each side with foliate design and royal cypher, ricasso marked for Rogers & Co. Cov. Garden, with proved plug over, steel hilt with wire-bound black fish-skin grip, together with its brown leather field scabbard, worn, etching rubbed and being faint in places, fish-skin absent above top loop of wire binding, scabbard with solid stitching but some grazing and frog strap broken
