circa 1949, 28in. nitro reproved barrels (in 2025), the rib engraved 'ALEX HENRY & CO. EDINBURGH' with acanthus scrollwork at the breech end, the tubes with bands of engraving at the breech ends, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 3/4 choke, automatic safety, bold acanthus scroll engraving with beaded bordering, the floorplate engraved ALEX HENRY & CO. GUNMAKERS. EDINBURGH', retaining some original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/2in. stock including distressed recoil pad, weight 7lb.
