A SUDANESE KASKARA SWORD WITH AN UNUSUAL BLADE, late 19th Century with possibly an earlier blade, double-edged blade 34 in. with wide central fuller on each side extending to the tip, iron cross-guard, leather-bound wooden hilt, worn, the blade with some heavy and deep blinded pitting; the design of the blade with the extended fuller infers that it has been cut down from a longer, earlier weapon and married to the hilt
