BIRMINGHAM-MADE 12-BORE ROTARY-UNDERLEVER HAMMERGUN, no visible serial number, circa 1887, 30in. nitro reproved bold damascus barrels (in 1957, rib lifting at muzzle), the tube breech-ends with feathered borders, the rib with acanthus scroll detailing, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/2 choke, back-action locks with rebounding hammers, Jones-patent rotary-underlever, border and acanthus scroll engraving, 14 1/4in. figured stock including buttplate, Hackett-type snap-on fore-end with horn finial, weight 7lb.
