* A PATTERN 1822/45 INFANTRY OFFICER'S SWORD, circa 1850, with 32 1/2 in. single-edged blade, fullered and etched on each side with scrolls and the royal cypher, ricasso marked 'ROGERS & Co. / 40 King St. / Cov'nt Garden / LONDON' brass gothic hilt with folding guard, wire-bound grip, together with its brass scabbard with two suspension rings, guard dented, fish-skin removed from grip and underlying wood painted black, one scabbard throat screw absent, scabbard scratched with shallow denting
