circa 1810, with plain round 2 1/4in. turn-off barrels (frozen), star-cut at muzzle for a key, slab-sided borderline and trophy engraved action, the left side signed 'LEWIS & TOMES', the right with vacant cartouche, central ring-necked cock with tang-mounted sliding safe, tap-handle to left side, slab-sided walnut butt and trigger guard bow releasing the under-barrel bayonet
