circa 1885, with nickel-plated ovoid 4 1/2in. Birmingham proved barrel, flat sighting plane with nickel-bladed fore-sight, sighting groove to the solid top-strap and signed 'WM. MOORE & GREY, 43 OLD BOND ST. LONDON', nickel-plated solid frame and plain six-shot cylinder with rear notch locking, double action mechanism, frame-mounted swivel ejector, chequered walnut grip with lanyard ring at heel, much finish remaining, in a later leather holster
