A GOOD AND SCARCE PRE-WAR LEICA MODEL III'a' 35mm CAMERA, serial no. 264387,
one of 800 Model III'a's produced in 1937, with satin chrome finished body with black leather wrap and fitted with a Leitz lens serial no. 389067 (1941-42), the whole contained within its Leitz waffenampt marked 'Ever-Ready' brown leather case also stamped 'HEER' on the reverse (partially struck out) and together with a post-war English language instruction book for a III'f' model

Provenance: These cameras were widely used as the camera of choice for the German forces during World War Two
