circa 1934, with two 4in. interchangeable break-open to load barrels, dove-tailed fore-sights, plain air-chamber lifting to cock via release catch on the trigger guard and with patent markings including 'HAENEL MOD 28, BRIT PAT. No. 277265 D.R.P.', buckhorn rear-sight, smooth walnut grips with brass Haenel medallions, the whole an older faded refinish, in its maker's English market brown card carton, the lid with an illustration of the pistol against a target background surrounded by the make and model details, all above 'PATENT APPLIED FOR IN ALL COUNTRIES' and 'BRITISH PATENT 277265', instructions inside lid (edges of lid worn and cracked)
