A 5.5mm VELODOG HAMMERLESS POCKET REVOLVER, UNSIGNED, serial no. 8,
probably Spanish circa 1885, with ovoid blued 1 7/8in. barrel, crescent fore-sight, blued solid frame, the left side of barrel throat marked with a crown above 'S.A.' (possibly for Salvador Arostegui of Eibar), moulded notch rear-sight, five shot cylinder with blind flutes, side safe, swing-out ejector and flush folding trigger, fitted with replacement wood grips
