EDINBURGH' towards the breech, rear-sight of one standing leaf and two folding leaves, recessed patent breech with two gold-inlaid lines, border engraved tang and lock, the latter signed 'ALEXR. HENRY', walnut half-stock with chequered grip, iron mounts, silver escutcheon and barrel-bolt escutcheons, and brass-mounted ramrod with worm (stock with extensive inset repairs, trigger-plate and barrel-bolt escutcheons replaced), London proof marks.
