for 1915, with round 5 1/2in. barrel signed on the top by the maker and with patent dates to 1905, blued solid frame with sighting groove to top-strap and blued swing-out fluted six-shot cylinder, British ordnance stamps above cylinder release, double action mechanism with polished sided to the hammer, chequered hard rubber grips with lanyard swivel at heel, the whole with much original finish throughout
