the musket dated for 1810, the number added later, with round brushed bright 39in. barrel, block fore-sight acting as the bayonet lug, fixed standing notch rear-sight, London and E.I.C. proofs, moulded band at breech and solid top-tang, slightly rounded military style lock with the rampant lion trademark below the semi rainproof pan and date to tail, ring-necked cock, walnut full-stock with shotgun-style butt, brass furniture, iron ramrod and fitted with a vintage leather sling, together with a period or earlier socket bayonet marked 1/1 on the socket, cleaned, no scabbard
