for 1998, 28in. nitro barrels with raised tapered file-cut top-rib, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. in both, two small patches of external pits towards muzzles right side, bolstered action with hold-open toplever, manual safety with engraved 'S', 'OVER' and 'UNDER' details, detachable trigger group with guard-mounted release, partially engraved with bordering acanthus scroll details, the decorative sideplates with ornate cartouches gold-inlaid 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND', the underside with 'The Sporting Model' in script in a circular cartouche, 14 3/8in. pistolgrip stock (minor crack left side at triggerplate) including 5/8in. recoil pad, slightly bolstered fore-end, weight 7lb. 11oz., in its lightweight leather case with original paperwork and some accessories
