circa 1845, with fully fluted 2 3/4in. six-shot barrel cluster, moulded nipple-shield, central bar hammer, scroll engraved action with radiused edges, smooth walnut bag-shaped grip and guarded trigger, traces of finish throughout and in a period walnut casing relined in green baize for this pistol and including a reproduction mould, turn-screw and a period cap-tin
