converted from flint in the reign of William IV, with brushed bright round iron 6in. barrel, Tower proofs and 'G.R.' crown inspector's stamp, rounded top-tang with small broad arrow stamp, flat lock with rounded stepped tail signed 'ENFIELD' around the curved tip, crown and 'W.R.' device below the nipple-boss, slab-sided hammer with bolted safe behind, walnut full-stock, brass furniture except captive swivel iron ramrod and lanyard swivel to heel.
