AN INTERESTING 69 BORE NEW LAND PATTERN FLINTLOCK PISTOL MARKED FOR 11th LIGHT DRAGOONS, no visible serial number, early 19th Century, 9 in. proof-marked barrel, lock stamped 'TOWER' plus engraved crown above 'GR', walnut stock, trigger-guard engraved 'XI - L - D / B / 47 (for 11th Light Dragoons, B Company, pistol 47), worn, captive rammer absent and replaced with a steel rammer, hammer pitted and probably not original to the gun, sliding safety absent, stock cracked through below the wrist, large inset repair where the rammer enters the forend
