30in. sleeved nitro barrels, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 3/4 choke, scroll-back action with carved serpentine fences, hold-open toplever, the action with 'jumping jack' return stud (action bridge fractured), automatic side-safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, fine bouquet and scroll engraving, brushed bright finish, 14 7/8in. well-figured stock (cracked and repaired at hand) including buttplate, the chequering with decorative borders and with horn-inlaid drop points, weight 6lb. 15oz., in a case.
The makers have kindly confirmed that this gun was made in 1891 to match gun No. 37295.
