LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke (No.1) and true cyl. and 1/4 choke (No.2), treble-grip actions, automatic safeties, non-selective single triggers, bold acanthus scroll engraving, brushed bright and reblued finish overall, 14 1/2in. figured stocks, weight 6lb. 15oz., in their brass-cornered oak and leather case
Provenance: The makers have kindly informed us that this matched pair of shotguns were completed with 30in. barrels as a shop order in September 1908. They were subsequently matched and bought by Mr. H. Francis who paid 52gns for them.
Literature: This Lot is accompanied by a letter from the makers confirming the provenance and original specification of the shotguns.
