A BRITISH PATTERN 1898 MOUNTAIN ARTILLERY TROOPERS SWORD,
circa 1900, with broad curving 30in. blade, wide fuller for the first four fifths of its length, the back edge signed 'MOLE' together with a broad arrow and letter 'I', brass stirrup guard (slightly mis-shapen) with rounded langets, the cross-guard stamped '1 0 0 1 V.O.', iron ribbed grip-piece TOGETHER WITH its original brown leather scabbard with brass mounts (some mild staining to blade and dents to mounts)
