LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true and imp. cyl., fluted fences, manual safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, top strap engraved 'PATENT', best fine border and acanthus scroll engraving, 14 5/8in. figured stock including 2 3/8in. wooden extension, weight 5lb. 14oz.
Provenance: The makers have kindly informed us that this shotgun was completed in 1888 with 30in. barrels for H. Newlyn, Esq.
