A 15-BORE PERCUSSION DOUBLE-BARRELLED SPORTING GUN, no visible serial number,
Belgian, circa 1850, with 33 1/2in. damascus octagonal to round barrels signed 'DAMAS ANGLAIS' in gold within an inlaid silver-scroll border, bead fore-sight, silver lines at breech, flat border and scroll engraved locks signed 'HEURET FRERES' behind the hammer on the right-hand lock and 'A LIEGE' behind the hammer on the left, walnut half-stock (small cracks behind each lock), carved with a boar's head behind the chequered grip, raised cheek-piece, engraved iron furniture and brass-tipped ramrod (broken)
