30in. nitro barrels with matt top-ribs, engraved at the breech ends 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND. LONDON.' and gold-inlaid '1' and '2' on the undersides, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and 3/4 choke;
28in. nitro barrels with matt top-ribs, engraved at the breech ends 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND. LONDON.' and gold-inlaid '1' and '2' on the undersides, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp cyl and 1/4 choke;
bolstered actions with hold-open toplevers, automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, non-selective single-triggers, fully engraved with best bold Royal scroll engraving with feathered borders, the rear of the lockplates gold-inlaid in three colour gold with a single English rose, the makers name gold-inlaid in a cartouche, the undersides engraved 'THE ROYAL MODEL', retaining full original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/2in. highly-figured semi-pistolgrip stocks, gold escutcheons engraved 'E.P.C.', weight 6lb. 14oz., in a leather lightweight motor case with accessories, canvas outer (and provision for the extra barrels).
Provenance: The makers have kindly confirmed that the guns were completed in November 2007.
