A .32-40 (W.C.F.) 1902 PATENT SMALL ACTION FALLING-BLOCK TAKEDOWN SINGLE-SHOT RIFLE, serial no. 11236, ref. no. 1043,
27in. nitro barrel with ramp-mounted bead fore-sight, open sights with two folding leaf sights, Webley & Scott Revolver & Arms Co. patent falling block action, patent No. 6365 of 15th March 1902, left-side of the frame engraved with the calibre designation, with takedown screw and toggle safety, the right with the Webley & Scott winged bullet trademark and 'WEBLEY No. 6365 1902 PATENT', retaining much original blued finish, 14 1/2in. semi-pistolgrip stock, the right side with plaque inscribed 'S.A.S. 1043, sling eyes, complete with its Small Arms School Corps collection identification tag
