32in. nitro barrels with engraved with a beaded band at the breech end, matt rib engraved 'G.E. LEWIS & SONS. 32 & 33 LOWER LOVEDAY ST. BIRMINGHAM.', 3in. chambers, bored approx. 3/4 choke in both, treble-grip action with sideclips, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, the fences engraved with acanthus scrollwork set against a matt background, the action with beaded borderwork and engraved with a brace of ducks alighting from a wetland setting on each side, the underside engraved with the portrait of a hound retrieving fallen fowl, retaining virtually full original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/4in. semi-pistolgrip stock including 1/2in. rubber recoil pad, weight 8lb., in its makers canvas and leather case
