HANNAH SHERGOLD
A LIFESIZE BRONZE 'LEAPING LYNX'
Edition 2 of 6, approx. 110cm in length, mounted on steel for display or directly onto rock for installation
Other Notes: This sculpture was originally commissioned by 1 Regiment, Army Air Corps, to commemorate their time in Germany. The Lynx helicopter remains the most agile and versatile in the military fleet and the sculpture was designed to represent the stealth, agility and deadly nature of the aircraft. Originally installed in Gutersloh, the piece has now been relocated to Yeovilton, Somerset, where the Regiment is transitioning to the new Wildcat aircraft.
