HAMBURG', with very finely matted sight rib, inscribed with the calibre designation in a chamfered rectangular banner, open sights with two folding leaf sights with finely matted finish, silver-inlaid sight lines and marked for 50, 150 and 200 metres, finely matted ramp-mounted bead foresight with florally engraved flip-up moonsight, the muzzle engraved with a finely matted band with silver line detailing, the Peruvian Mauser '98 action receiver (with thumb cutout) mounted with a Zeiss Diavari-C 3-9x36 T* telescopic sight in quickly-detachable mounts, the sight mount bases with fine basketweave engraving and florally decorated screw heads, colour-hardened recoil blocks with quaternary celtic knot designs and white gold line border, hinged floorplate with push button release, finely chequered trigger, the receiver, bolt and furniture exquisitely engraved with celtic five-fold patterning, quaternary celtic knots and white gold and platinum-inlaid with celtic geometric designs with stylised griffin heads with rose gold eyes, the triggerguard discreetly signed 'A. DAMMENHAYN', the bolt with white gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, the rear with 'SR007 H&W', retaining virtually full colour-hardened finish overall, highly-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, horn finial, finely engraved, white gold-inlaid and colour-hardened steel pistolgrip-cap and heel and toe plates, sling swivels with floral designs, 13 3/4in. pull
Provenance: The rifle was completed in February 2015 and remains in unused condition.
