A 9.4 mm (DUTCH) SIX-SHOT DOUBLE-ACTION REVOLVER, MODEL 'DUTCH BEAUMONT M1873', serial no. 1917,
circa 1875, with blued octagonal 5 1/4in. barrel, integral fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight to the back of top-strap, solid frame marked 'J.F.J. BAR DELFT' in an oval on the right hand side together with 'W.D.W.' also in an oval, plain stepped cylinder, rear loading gate with external bridle, spurred hammer, smooth walnut bag-shaped grips, guarded trigger and lanyard ring at pommel, the whole retaining much original blued finish
