A PAIR OF 50-BORE PERCUSSION NICKEL-SILVER BODIED TURN-OFF POCKET-PISTOLS, no visible serial numbers,
circa 1845, with re-blued octagonal 3in. barrels signed on the top-flat 'MURDOCH, WHITE HAVEN', bead fore-sights, shaped nickel-silver border and scroll engraved boxlock side-hammer actions, standing notch rear-sights to the top-plates, re-blued slab-sided scroll engraved hammers, smooth walnut bag-shaped butts with vacant silver oval escutcheons to the wrists, and concealed automatic triggers
