A 100-BORE FLINTLOCK TURN-OFF POCKET-PISTOL OF SMALL SIZE WITH SILVER-INLAID BUTT, no visible serial number,
circa 1775, with turn-off 1 1/2in. cannon barrel, squared scroll engraved boxlock action signed in a banner on the right hand side 'KNIGHT' and LONDON' on the left beneath the engraving, London proofs with large 'RW' makers mark, central hammer, trigger-guard safety and slab-sided walnut butt inlet with silver wire scrolls to the sides and back
