A CASED 54-BORE PERCUSSION FIVE-SHOT DOUBLE-ACTION REVOLVER, serial no. B7541,
circa 1858, with octagonal 5 3/4in. barrel, borderline engraving to the flats and engraved band at muzzle, the top-strap signed 'ROBERT ADAMS LONDON', plain border engraved cylinder, borderline and scroll engraved frame, chequered walnut one-piece grip, iron butt-cap and articulated rammer mounted to left of barrel, the whole retaining much original finish
