AN 18-BORE PERCUSSION DOUBLE-BARRELLED SPORTING GUN, no visible serial number,
mid-19th century, with 35 1/2in. twist sighted barrels, border engraved back-action locks with indistinct signature, walnut half-stock carved in relief with a stag's head behind the grip, chequered grip and fore-end, raised cheek-piece, engraved iron mounts, sling mounts, later iron ramrod and St. Etienne proof (cleaned bright, some wear and discolouration).
