circa 1860, with browned twist-iron 28in. barrels, broad flat top-rib signed 'R.B. RODDA, LONDON & CALCUTTA' with dove-tailed fore-sight blade, blued triple folding leaf rear-sight, colour-hardened scroll engraved breech-blocks with platinum plugs, borderline and scroll engraved top-tang, border and scroll engraved bar-action locks signed 'R.B. RODDA & CO', chequered figured walnut half-stock, the left side near heel-plate stamped '15' over 'B.P.', colour-hardened iron heel-plate with short scroll engraved top-spur, colour-hardened trigger-guard bow and chequered pistol-grip tang and original brass mounted under-barrel ramrod, the whole expertly refinished and re-coloured to an extremely high standard
