original 30in. nitro reproved fine damascus barrels, rib with fine scrollwork at the breech end and re-engraved 'CHARLES BOSWELL. MAKER. 126, STRAND. LONDON. W.C.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and full choke, wall thicknesses below recommended minimum;
extra 28in. steel nitro barrels (proof dated 1990), rib with scrollwork at the breech end and engraved 'CHARLES BOSWELL GUNMAKERS 126, STRAND LONDON. W.C.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and imp. cyl. choke, some pits, left wall at 18, scoop-backed treble-grip action with side-clips, slender toplever, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, fine acanthus scroll engraving interspersed with floral designs and ornate bordering, brushed finish, 15in. well-figured stock with ornate recessed chequered side panels, weight 6lb. 8oz. (damascus barrels) and 6lb. 7oz. (steel barrels), in a leather case (provision for one set of barrels only)
