for 1912, 25in. nitro reproved barrel (in 2026) engraved in gothic script 'JOHN RIGBY & CO. 43. SACKVILLE ST. LONDON.', open sights and two folding leaf sights with white metal inlaid sight lines and marked '300' and '400', ramp-mounted bead fore-sight with later hood, the receiver ring engraved 'SIGHTED FOR RIGBY'S SPECIAL HIGH VELOCITY .275 BORE CARTRIDGE POINTED BULLET 140 GRS' and with Mauser serial number 42180, sidewall (with thumb cutout) with detachable side rail mount with 30mm rings and a Burris 4x Fullfield telescopic sight, serial number 025903, bolt with repair to handle, a PH flag safety and mounted at the rear with a Rigby's adjustable peep sight, floorplate with military style release (frozen), semi-pistolgrip stock with sling eyes, 14 1/4in. pull including ribbed steel buttplate, weight 7lb. 9oz. (unscoped) and 8lb. 9oz. (with scope), in its full length canvas and leather case (with provision for scope)
